About Me

I am a needlework instructor, artist, designer, historic interpreter and lace maker. For over eight years I have been teaching classes in tatting, lace making, crochet, embroidery, spinning, felting, knitting, beading, sewing and paper crafting. I compete in the Colorado State Fair and am a member of the Rocky Mountain Lace Guild. I enjoy using traditional needlework techniques in new ways and designing original tatting, crochet, felting and knitting patterns. Teaching allows me to share my love of creating beautiful arts and crafts and I enjoy seeing the creativity that students bring to each project.

Please check this website for the dates and locations of upcoming workshops and classes, and for information on purchasing kits, patterns and finished pieces.

  1. Went to the gallery. The rain doll, I had not seen. She is beautiful. The tatting is equisite (I hate you). Its perfect, but not the traditional idea of lace for the laymen. It would take a more sophisticated eye to understand the complexity (and beauty) of the piece.

    • Thanks Susan! I agree the Dragonfly Pond is more of a tatted sculpture than “lace”. I invented several new tatting techniques in order to make it work as a 3D sculpture. I could have made a flat tatted pond but where’s the fun and art in that? :) I really just wanted to create something completely new in tatting, something that has not been done before.
